How to Make Jasmine Lotion

Moisturize your skin and soothe your senses with some wonderful jasmine lotion that you can make in your own kitchen. The lotion is fresh, light and completely natural, and is infused with the delicate scent of jasmine and a tiny touch of lavender.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 tsp. cocoa butter
  • 1 tsp. beeswax
  • Small enamel or glass saucepan
  • 1 tsp. coconut oil
  • Oil of 2 vitamin E capsules
  • 1/4 cup distilled water
  • Small mixing bowl
  • 1/2 tsp. glycerin
  • 1 tsp. aloe vera gel
  • Wire whisk
  • 1/4 cup sweet almond oil
  • 6 drops jasmine essential oil
  • 2 drops lavender essential oil
  • Airtight container
  1. Step 1

    Place 1 tsp. of cocoa butter and 1 tsp. beeswax in a small enamel or glass saucepan and melt it over low heat. Stir in 1 tsp. of coconut oil and the oil from 2 vitamin E capsules.

  2. Step 2

    Remove the mixture from the heat and allow it to cool.

  3. Step 3

    Place 1/4 cup of distilled water in a small mixing bowl and stir in 1/2 tsp. of glycerin and 1 tsp. of aloe vera gel.

  4. Step 4

    Drizzle the cooled cocoa butter and oil mixture into the water mixture very slowly, whisking as you add it.

  5. Step 5

    Add 1/4 cup sweet almond oil, 6 drops of jasmine essential oil and 2 drops of lavender essential oil, and continue to mix well.

  6. Step 6

    Store the jasmine lotion in an airtight container, and use as needed.

Tips & Warnings
  • Jasmine lotion makes lovely gifts. Make a double batch if you need, and fill some small, decorative jars or bottles with the scented lotion.
