When it comes to losing weight, it can seem impossible to jump start your body. Even if you eat right and exercise, sometimes your metabolism is just working against you. Enter the Green Tea Diet Patch. By placing this thin little patch on your body, you can help jump start your metabolism and your weight loss goals.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Place the patch on a hairless part of your body. Once you place the Green Tea Diet Patch on your body, the green tea will slowly infuse itself into your body and speed up your metabolism. Wear the patch for 48-hour period. Its adhesive is strong enough to make it through a shower; just don't overtly soak the area. After two days, replace the patch with a new one.

  2. Step 2

Drink one packet of the Green Tea powder formula mixed with water. You can use hot or cold water and use as much as you like, as it essentially tastes like you are drinking green tea. Note that the time of day doesn't matter as long as you drink the green tea with your meal.

  3. Step 3

Substitute the Green Tea Diet Pill for the diet patch. If you're not a fan of wearing a patch for a few months to lose weight, the company also produces a pill which you can take in lieu of the patch. The company does note that to receive optimal results, the patch is best. The directions for taking the capsules are one pill twice a day before your morning and afternoon meal.

  4. Step 4

Drink plenty of water along with your Green Tea Diet program. Like most diet programs, plenty of water is recommended. Especially because green tea contains caffeine which is a known diuretic. You want to keep your body hydrated so that your organs remain in proper working order.

  5. Step 5

Add an exercise routine to the mix. While it may seem tough to get motivated, adding exercise is imperative to a diet program. It helps you boost your metabolism, while gaining muscle mass and shedding unwanted fat. Your exercise routine should be a mix of cardio (aerobics, running, biking or hiking) and resistance training (free weights or resistance machines.)

  6. Step 6

Restrict your calories by 15 percent every 2 weeks until you reach your weight loss goal. Remember, when it comes to weight loss you want to do it over time. That way the way stays off, rather than succumbing to the "yo-yo" mentality. The best way to calculate this is to count your calories for a week (no cheating) and then reduce by the aforementioned 15 percent. This will give you a solid average of your daily intake.

  7. Step 7

Discontinue your diet when you have reached your weight loss goals. While the benefits of Green Tea are certainly numerous, switch to merely drinking a cup of green tea once you've reached your desired goal. That way you'll still get the healthy dose of antioxidants, but you won't have to walk around with a patch attached to your arm.
