Things You'll Need:
- Dark tone eyeshadow (matching skin of inner lips)
- Light luminescent eyeshadow (with gold or silver flakes)
- Small blush brush
- Tissue
-
Step 1
Choose the right colors of eyeshadow to use as blush. When choosing the dark tone, try to match the color as much as possible to the inside of your lips. This rich, rosy color will ensure that your blush, even if it really is eyeshadow, looks as natural as possible.
-
Step 2
Select eyeshadows with luminescence if you would like a bit of a highlight. Eyeshadows with gold or silver flakes make perfect blush; however, apply a little at a time, adding more if necessary, as it is easy to go overboard with glittery eyeshadows turned blushes.
-
Step 3
Begin with your dark, rosy color. Use a small blush brush so that you can dab the bristles in the single eyeshadow color. Smile to find the apples of your cheeks and begin application there. Work the brush and powder up the length of your cheekbones and blend the color into your skin.
-
Step 4
Wipe your brush off on a clean piece of tissue and then dab the brush once again into your eyeshadow, this time selecting a lighter luminescent color. Whites and champagnes work best when using eyeshadow as blush highlights.
-
Step 5
Use dabbing motions to apply the luminescent eye shadow along the top ridge of your cheekbones and then work the brush in small circles to work the color into your skin. As easy as that you can apply eyeshadow as the perfect blush.
