How to Beat the Hung Out to Dry Mission in Grand Theft Auto IV

Vlad the Russian has plenty of missions for you in Grand Theft Auto IV. One of the early ones is Hung Out to Dry. Seems the owner of a laundromat is causing trouble for Vlad, so he orders Niko to go put the guy through the wringer.

Difficulty: Moderate

Instructions

1. Activate this GTA mission by meeting Vlad at Comrade's Bar. He'll tell you to go to a nearby laundromat and terrorize the owner.

2. Follow the icon on the GTA map to the laundromat on Masterson St.

3. Enter the laundromat. A brief scene appears of the owner, who proceeds to run out the back door.

4. Follow the guy out the back door. When he jumps into a van, quickly hot-wire one of the nearby cars and follow the van. The fastest car is closest to you when you run out the back door.

5. Tail his van and get it to stop by ramming it a few times. Eventually the van will pull over and the guy will attempt to run.

6. Kill him by running him over, shooting him or any other way.

Tips & Warnings

• Hot-wire a car behind the laundromat by getting in and tapping the Right Trigger and Left Trigger as fast as you can.
• Another way to try to kill the guy is to open fire on the van, you could get lucky and blow up the car with him in it.
