How to Befriend Little Jacob in Grand Theft Auto IV

In Grand Theft Auto IV, Little Jacob the Rastafarian drug dealer may not be easy to understand, but as a friend he's invaluable. Take the time early to get this guy on your side, and you'll be rewarded with easy access to heavy weaponry, which makes life in Liberty City a whole lot easier.

Instructions

1. Make Little Jacob a priority. Once you get to know Jacob, he'll occasionally call you and ask you to hang out. Agree to do so and show up on time.

2. Call Little Jacob up and invite him to do things. Friendship is a two-way street, and Jacob likes to be invited out, especially to Cluckin' Bell and to bars. He's available from 1 p.m. to 4 a.m.

3. Check the Stats menu to see how you're progressing with Little Jacob. When you get up to 60 percent on the friendship level, Little Jacob will then become available for arms deals.

4. Buy guns from Little Jacob by selecting his name in your phone, and then selecting "Guns." Jacob will tell you to meet him at his car, which will appear on your map. No matter where you are when you call, Jacob will show up somewhere reasonably close.

• If you're unable to get to Little Jacob in the allotted one in-game hour, be sure and call him to cancel.
