1
Create a list of your chores. Be sure to write down all of your daily and weekly chores, such as washing dishes, doing the laundry, vacuuming the house, cleaning the bathrooms and paying bills.
-
2
Establish a regular schedule for your chores. To help you make a daily chore routine, you should create a specific schedule for your chores and try to follow it. Be sure to use a calendar, large poster board, dry erase board or another appropriate tool, to create a chart listing your chores, along with the day and time you plan to complete each chore. Be sure to prioritize your chores.

3
Assign chores to family members. Decide which chores you can have your family do and assign these chores to them appropriately. Make sure that you show your family how to properly do the chores and encourage them to follow the schedule.

4
Give everyone time to adapt to doing their chores. You should give you and your family ample time to make each chore routine. Try doing the daily chores for one week and the weekly chores for at least two weeks before making any adjustments to your schedule. After that time period, it is okay to make adjustments to the schedule until you find something that works for the family.
-
5
Reward everyone for completing their tasks. In order to keep your family motivated, you should reward everyone (including yourself) accordingly for successfully completing the chores. Rewards may include a simple thank you note, a nice family dinner, gift certificates or going to the movies.

Tips & Warnings
Try to combine chores whenever you can, such as doing all of your paperwork in one day (like paying bills, preparing mail and filing papers).
If you live alone or do not have family members to help you with your chores, try hiring someone to help you complete your tasks.
To make doing chores more exciting, see if your family can do some chores together, like doing a family clean-up day on the weekend.
