Put your gasoline-soaked clothes into the washer. Set your washing machine to a heavy-duty setting and turn it on.

Pour a bit of baby oil into the washing machine. If you don't want to pour baby oil into the machine, you may also soak a few rags with it and toss them into the machine with your clothes. However, make sure you use rags and not regular cloths.

Let the washing machine work your clothes and the baby oil for a few minutes.

Add your regular laundry detergent before the next phase of your washing machine's cycle starts. Liquid detergent may work better than powder.

Allow the cycle to complete.

Take your clothes out of the washer and hang them out to dry in the sun. Sunshine can further help remove any lingering gasoline scent.

Tips & Warnings
Keep your clothes out in the sun for a few hours after they completely dry to ensure that the gasoline scent completely evaporates.
Do not dry your clothes in an electric or gas dryer. Any gasoline left on your clothes may present a fire hazard if used in these types of dryers.
Don't wash your gasoline-soaked clothes with other clothes. If you do this, you may end up needlessly transferring gasoline to your other clothes.
