Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Hold your Rubik's Cube with the first completed layer facing up.

  2. Step 2

Pick an edge to start at and turn the front layer. Whichever edge you first decide to work on will be the front side of cube.

  3. Step 3

Rotate the bottom layer. After you have rotated the front layer counter clockwise once, rotate the bottom layer counter clockwise as well to follow the front layer.

  4. Step 4

Repeat Steps one and two. Continue alternating between turning the front layer counter clockwise, followed by the bottom layer. Continue doing this until the first edge matches up. It will eventually work.

  5. Step 5

Choose another edge to work on. After you have matched up your first edge, choose another edge and repeat Steps 1 through 3. Continue this until every edge matches up and you have solved the second layer.

  6. Step 6

Move the front layer counter clockwise once to start working on the second layer.
