With all the things life can bring our way it can takes us on a thrill ride called stress. Have no fear your stress reliever is here.

  • The will to live.
  • A mind made up.
Step1
It is true when they say " You are what you eat". Studies shows you feel good from the inside out. Stress can cause many unwanted pounds in the mid section. First, start your stress free lifestyle out by changing your eating habits. Eating things that boost your health can be a world difference. Remember eat to live, not live to eat.
Step2
Along with your new diet incorporate a daily exercise plan. 30 mins a day with a low or high impact workout can help boost your serotonin levels. Also stretching before getting out of bed in the mornings and a nightly stretch can give you instant gratification.
Step3
Learning breathing techniques can be beneficial. It is proven that taken 10 deep breaths can reset you back into a relaxing state. This also can help before you decide to throw you boss out of the window of the 30th floor. Breath and relax and take a few mins for yourself at the workplace.
Step4
Even in a busy home life you still have time for a few laughs. Rent a couple of comedies whether it's with your family or friends the more laughs the merrier. Don't forget the popcorn!

Learn to say NO! For some this is not easy to do. You can't please everyone, saying no to those last minute lunch invitations or those after soccer drop-offs only takes away from your "ME TIME".

Invest in yourself because your the #1 customer. That new something special won't only put a smile on your face ,but the one that you might share it with. If it's only you, self indulge and enjoy even more. Whatever you choose for self keep in mind that it makes you happy.

Eliminate bad energy in or around your home. Your home is your sanctuary and negative friends and family are out the door.

on 8/23/2008 Learning to say NO is probably the biggest stress reliever, volunteering is good but when you are the one they turn to all the time it can be very stressful. Let someone else pull their load some times. Taking care of yourself is also very important and a lot of people think they are being selfish is they do so. Don't think that way, if you take care of yourself you are better able to help others when needed.
