The Yahoo Buzz is a new way to promote blogs. By installing the little Yahoo widget, you will allow your readers to click the widget and cast a vote for your particular post. It is easy to install and easy to program every time you make a post. Readers will see your article on the front page when you start getting enough votes. Promote your articles without using any other promotional tools. Digg is out and Yahoo Buzz is in.

Yahoo account
Yahoo Buzz button

Step 1

Sign up for a Yahoo account if you do not already have one. This process is easy to do. If you have a Yahoo email or messenger account, you are already to go
Step 2

Go to Yahoo Buzz homepage. At the bottom of the page, click on Publish your content. You will be taken to the next page. On the right side of this new page, you will see Yahoo Buzz buttons, not widgets. Click on Yahoo Buzz buttons and you are taken to the button page.
Step 3

Select the button you would like to display on your posts. You can choose from buttons with a vote count or button with the saying Buzz up. Click on Get Code for the button you want to display and this will give you the code.
Step 4

Copy this code to place on every post. You want to keep this code somewhere safe so you can use it every time you make a new post.
Step 5

Paste the code into your text box after the article you have written. Where the code says ARTICALURL, you will place your page URL here. It is important that you change the URL for every post so that every post will receive a vote.
Step 6

Post your article and click on the Buzz up button. This will take you to a page that will ask you to enter the title. The URL will already be displayed. Then you can enter a little description. Check the box that tells if it is a video, text or other.
Step 7

Check the appropriate box and click to continue. The next page will ask you to enter the letters you see. Enter the letters and click submit. Your article is now ready to have everyone vote on it.
