How to Apply DOTA Overlay Profile in Friendster

Instructions

1. Choose premade DOTA Overlay at: megarapidfiles.net/overlay/

2. Get the textcodes and open it using dreamweaver. If you dont have Dreamweaver, you can also use the Allycode HTML Editor. Just search it on Google.

3. Then, on the middle part of the DOTA Code, you can see the comment
   "REPLACE "USERID" WITH YOUR FRIENDSTER USER ID". On the codes that follows that comment, replace the USERID with your friendster userid.
   
   How to get your friendster UserId? you can get it by viewing your own profile and click your own Primary Photo. You will then redirected to your Photo Gallery right? the take a look at the address bar of your Internet Explorer Browser, you will see the friendster address that has many number on it separated by slash (/). Look for the group of 7 numbers inside a slash then copy it.

4. Now, replace all the USERID text on the code. You can easily do it by pressing CTRL + F (on Dreamweaver or CTRL + H for Alleycode HTML Editor or Notepad) on your keyboard. Then on the "Find" box, type in the word USERID and on the "Replace" box, type your Friendster USERID and press the Replace All button.

5. If you have a blog, Press again the CTRL + F. Then on the "Find" box, type in the word YOUR BLOG URL (yes, it has spaces) and on the "Replace" box, type your blog Url and press the Replace All button.

6. Please dont remove the Creators Profile Url and also the url of my website. Leave it and treat it as a credit for me.

7. Now its time to edit your personal information for your DOTA Overlay. Look on the lower part of the code. You will see the comment "EDIT THIS CONTENT FOR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION". On the next line after that, you can place your photo there.
   
   Get your Friendster Photo url (by viewing you Friendster picture and get its url on the address bar) and replace the http...s423.photobucket.com/albums/pp319/dotaoverlay/ilovekhym.jpg with your own picture url.
   
   Then next on that, edit the default personal information there. Your Intereset info must only consist of 26 characters.

8. Then its time to Generate your code on the overlay generator. Go to markyctrigger.com then on that page, on the right side, paste all your codes on the 3rd box then press the Generate button. Then copy the generated code on the 4th box (the lower box).

9. Go to your friendster profile, click the edit profile and then on the "Customize tab" (the place where you place your media box or CSS codes) click the Revert Button. Reverting your profile is important so that your Overlay Profile will run successfully. After your profile has been reverted, paste the the generated code on your media box and save your profile.

10. Get chatbox on cbox.ws. get the code and then follow the instructions on the images at megarapidfiles.net/chatimages/alleycode.jpg for alleycode HTML Editor users
    and
    megarapidfiles.net/chatimages/dreamweaver.jpg for dreamweaver users.
    
    If you dont have HTML Editor, then i recommend using Alleycode HTML Editor because its so easy to download and you can get free trial of this application. Just search it on Google.
    
    To see clearly the sample code images, follow this steps
    
    In Internet Explorer 6.0: Save the image and use paint to view it in its full size.
    
    In Internet Explorer 7: Just point over on the image and a magnifier will appear.
    
    In Firefox: Point over on the image and a magnifier will appear.

11. Now, view your profile and see if your DOTA Overlay appear.
    
    If NOT, then there must be problem with the codes you edited on the start. Make sure that you only edit the USERID, YOUR BLOG URL and your personal information.
    
    If your Overlay appear but some text on your personal information overlap on other text, then your personal information must be shorten. Edit again the codes. NOW!!!. Joke hehehe..

Tips & Warnings

• If you have problem editing the code using the notepad. Try to use Dreamweaver.
• Help me share this overlay profile by telling this to your friends. Currently I have already 8 Overlay created and plan to create overlay profile for all the DOTA hero's.
• Don't edit the codes as much as it has no relation on USERID, chatbox or YOURBLOGURL. Cause any single error on the code you make will cause your overlay not to run
