Bugs!
Bugs!

Sick of those disgusting bugs on the windshield? Now you can remove them quick and fast with absolutely no effort!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Baking Soda: Baking soda is perhaps one of the most underrated products on the market. It's not only used to whiten things such as teeth, but it's used to break down grime, in this case, bugs! Mix baking soda with warm water until you get a paste. Once it's in the paste form, take paper towels and rub paste on the windshield. Let sit for 10 minutes before washing off and wiping with paper towels.

  2. Step 2

Degreaser: Using a degreaser product is another great solution for this problem. Apply the degreaser to the windshield and let sit for a minute. After it's had a chance to sit, wash it off and dry the windshield. A great form of degreaser would be WD-40

  3. Step 3

Household Cleaners: This is something everyone has in their home, household cleaner! Take a couple cap full's of household cleaner and blend together with a bucket of hot water. Make the water as hot as you can stand it and wash your windshield. The hot water will make the bug guts break down with the quickness!

  4. Step 4

Olive Oil: Believe it or not, Olive oil is also a great product for this problem! Take a cloth and soak it down with Olive oil. Once the rag is wet, apply it to the windshield in a circular motion. You will have to wash your windshield after doing this process.

on 9/25/2008 To remove bugs from windshield, car paint, side mirrors, etc., wet one or more fabric softener sheets and apply to bug splats, wait a couple minutes and rinse with water. Tough splats may require a little more attention but this works like miracle. Also removes road tar.
