Instructions

    • 1

Fill an ice chest half way with water. Put the unshucked corn into the ice chest, and let them soak for 30 minutes. Light up the grill while the corn sits.

    • 2

Cook the corn on the grill for 20 minutes. Turn it every 5 minutes. Empty the ice chest of water and place it by the grill.

    • 3

Take the corn off the grill, and return it husk and all to the ice chest. The corn will steam itself in the closed ice chest while the cook is free to use the grill for other barbecue needs. The corn should be ready when the meat is done. Remove the husk and eat the corn with the meal.

Tips & Warnings

  • The husk cools fast. It can be used as a "handle" for the hot corn if you don't peel it all the way off.
