Did you know you can donate plasma for money? Not only can you make a decent amount of money each time you donate at plasma centers, you can do it two times per week, every week. This extra money could be exactly what you need to get through a rough time, or to make an extra car payment. This article will show you what you need to do to donate plasma for money.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Water
  • Protein
  • Phone book
  1. Step 1

Find plasma centers in your area by checking the phone book. Some blood centers also take plasma, so you may want to give them a call as well. Most areas in the country have places where you can donate plasma for money.

  2. Step 2

Ask each center how often they allow donations and how much they pay per donation. Pay ranges greatly from plasma center to plasma center. While some will give $9 per donation, others will give $25 to donate plasma for money.

  3. Step 3

Fill your belly with plenty of protein right before you donate plasma for money. To prevent your blood from clotting, plasma centers us an anticoagulant that is known to make you nauseous. Without protein you are more likely to vomit.

  4. Step 4

Keep yourself hydrated the day before you donate plasma for money. Then, drink 1 glass of water an hour starting 3 hours before you visit the plasma centers. This will help prevent you from getting light headed.

  5. Step 5

Allow for up to 2 hours in the plasma centers. When you donate plasma for money, you can make about $20 per donation, but you do have to sacrifice your time.

on 8/19/2008 It is also a good idea to check with your doctor before donating. If not in great health it could cause some problems. Plasma is a great way to help others and make money at the same time. Great article, 5 stars.
