Are you tired of spending your whole Saturday cleaning? Are you frantic when expecting visitors? Follow these simple guidelines, and your house will always be clean.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A laundry basket for each household member.
  • A plastic caddy to carry cleaning supplies.
  1. Step 1

Wash dishes and put away leftovers after every meal.

  2. Step 2

Allow children to bring only two toys into the family area at a time. This cuts down on clutter.

  3. Step 3

On your regular cleaning day, carry your cleaning caddy with your cleaning supplies and clean one room at a time.

  4. Step 4

Set the table for breakfast and lay out the next day's clothes the night before. Mornings run more smoothly this way.

  5. Step 5

Spend 15 minutes before bedtime going from room to room, tidying each one as you go.

Tips & Warnings
  • When doing laundry, any mate-less socks are thrown away if the mate isn't found within a week.
  • Fold and put away clean laundry immediately after removing it from the dryer. This cuts your time spent ironing in half.
