Things You'll Need:
- 1 lemon
- 2 bottles red wine
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 whole cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon whole allspice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/4 teaspoon Angostura Bitters
- Extra cinnamon sticks for garnish

Step 1
Grate the lemon and squeeze out all the juice.
In a saucepan, combine the juice, lemon peel, wine, water, sugar, cloves, allspice, cinnamon stick and Anostura Bitters. -
Step 2
Heat slowly until JUST BELOW boiling point.
Reduce the heat as low as you can and let it stand for 20 minutes. -
Step 3
Strain into a heat-proof punch bowl.
Ladle into individual mugs and garnish with the cinnamon sticks. Enjoy!
