Things You'll Need:
- You will need your self, your baby, and to be relaxed with a happy clear voice. Also, daily experiences. Simple toys, simple baby board books, or sturdy picture cards.
-
Step 1
Remember to talk while you are doing simple tasks. Talk in a clear, sweet voice. Not so much goo goo ga ga. Make it fun such as there goes you sock. Then make a noise such as . . . boop. Then smile!
-
Step 2
While playing, sitting on the floor, gives you optimum eye contact. This is very important. Talk about the toys, as you play. What does the toy do? Does it go around and around? Talk about the colors the he sees.
-
Step 3
Most importantly, have fun, and relax. Hug and kiss your babies cheeks. Tell her how much you love her. When your baby feels loved. She will have the most confidence in herself. Confidence will help her to talk.
