Step 1
Relieve sunburn
Apply a few wet tea bags to the your sunburn and it will take out the sting and cool it off.
** This works well for other types of minor burns as well.
If you have sunburn in many places on your body you can put some tea bags in your bathwater and soak your whole body in the tub. -
Step 2
Drain a boil
Cover a boil with a wet tea bag and let it sit overnight and the boil should drain by morning. -
Step 3
Dry a poison ivy rash
Dry a weeping poison ivy rash with strongly brewed tea.
Boil tea bags in water
Allow to cool
Dip a cotton ball into the tea, dab it on the affected area, and let it air-dry. repeat until the rash dries up. -
Step 4
Relieve tired eyes
Renew tired or puffy eyes by soaking two tea bags in warm water and place them over your eyes for 20 minutes.
* The tannins in the tea act to reduce puffiness and soothe tired eyes. -
