Things You'll Need:
- apron of your style
- skillet(pan) or large pot
- baking oven dish
- 6 bananas (slice them)
- 2 boxes of vanilla wafers
- 3 (14oz.cans) of sweetened condensed carnation milk
- 4 egg yolks, and 4 egg whites seperated from (4 eggs)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons of vanilla flavor
- 4 tablespoons of flour
- 1&1/2 cups of sugar
- 1/2 stick of pure butter or magarine
- optional coolwhip
-
Step 1
This is my finished job of the banana pudding, before I placed it into the oven.Preheat oven to 375 degrees
-
Step 2
Get a large bowl to combine and mix the ingredients in.
-
Step 3
Add the ingredients into the bowl.
-
Step 4
The ingredients are 3(14oz.cans) of sweetened condensed carnation milk, 4 egg yolks, 1&1/2 cups of sugar, 3 tablespoons of vanilla flavor, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 4 tablespoons of flour, and a 1/2 stick of butter. Mix well, because this is your pudding. Do not be concerned if the butter or margarine isn't fully blended in the mixture.
-
Step 5
Pour the mixture of ingredients into a skillet(pan) or large pot. Turn the stove on meduim-low and stir the ingredients until it thickens. Do not let the ingredients(pudding) stick to the bottom of the pan. That means you need to continue stirring until it's finished.
-
Step 6
Once it's thickened remove the skillet from the stove. Take your baking dish and place your vanilla wafers on the bottom of it. Put bananas on the top of each vanilla wafer cookie that you've placed inside the baking dish.
-
Step 7
Take your ingredients(pudding), and begin by pouring it on the top of your vanilla wafer cookies and bananas. Make sure the pudding fully covers it. Start on the next step in your baking dish.
-
Step 8
That is placing your vanilla wafer cookies and bananas on the top of your pudding. Once you're finish doing that, pour the remaining ingredients (pudding) on the top of your vanilla wafer cookies and bananas.
-
Step 9
Top the remaining ingredients (pudding) with vanilla wafer cookies. Add a few extra cookies by completely covering your ingredients (pudding)throughout the baking dish.
-
Step 10
Last but least, take your 4 egg whites and mix it in a bowl. You can mix it by hand or whip it with a mixer. Pour the egg whites on the top of your vanilla wafer cookies in the baking dish. Make sure the egg whites covers everything.
-
Step 11
Take your baking dish and place it in the oven that is set at 375 degrees. Let your banana pudding cook for at least 15 to 30 minutes. Remove the banana pudding from the oven and let it cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving. If you wish to add coolwhip as your topping, you can. Congratulations! I know you just love... the way your banana pudding taste.
