choose a family vacation

Are you having trouble deciding where to take the family for a vacation getaway.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First of all, decide if you and your spouse would like to spend any alone time together. Are you in the mood for relaxation or do you want to have lots of activity.

  2. Step 2

Consider the ages of your children. If you have teenagers then an action packed vacation is no problem, however if you are traveling with an infant or small children then you may have restraints.

  3. Step 3

Decide if you want luxury, or do you want to rough it. Again if you have small children you may want to choose a vacation destination that has a babysitting service. Something like a Disney cruise. Most people don't realize that Disney cruises have areas for adults to relax and enjoy without the children. They cater to parents as well as your children so that you are sure to enjoy yourself.

  4. Step 4

Also do you have a fun in the sun type of personality or are you a rocky mountain cabin in the woods type of person. All these can be extremely enjoyable but just make sure you consider everyone's personal preferences. You may come to a nice compromise, such as a luxury cabin in the woods with a jacuzzi, hot tub, fireplace and swimming pool.
