Prepare a cup of coffee, preferably with a moka machine but the typical standard American coffee maker is fine too, depending on which you like better and consider better tasting.

Let the coffee cool down for about five minutes, then pour the drink into the ice trays and place the tray in the freezer, and let it stand for about two hours.

When you are ready to serve the drinks, make another pot of coffee and pour over coffee cubes, and let it stand for two minutes before drinking if you want a really chilled drink.
