There is a new product on the market that will keep your spa clean without using any chemicals like chlorine or bromine.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Moss
  • Starter Kit
  1. Step 1

Sphagnum Moss is a natural and biodegradable water conditioning system that stop bacteria. The moss is a green product because after it is harvested the moss grows back. Once it is harvested, it is sterilized and then packaged. After about a month instead of throwing it away, you just put it in your garden.

  2. Step 2

When you set up your spa, use the liquid Flush. It cleans the inside of the plumbing system. You can't see it, but there is oil and microorganisms, film and such floating in the cleanest spa and the flush will completely remove it.

  3. Step 3

For spas whose capacity is less than 500 hundred gallons, you can by a kit that includes a insert with a dispenser and an dispenser. For spas over 500 hundred gallons, the kit has two inserts and two dispensers.

  4. Step 4

Once it has cycled for twenty-four hours, empty the spa and clean with a spa cleaner and rinse thoroughly. Empty the rinse water and then vacuum the jets and reinstall the filter. Attach the moss filter to your hose as you fill up your spa, again. It will remove all the chemicals that are in the tap water.

  5. Step 5

The last step is to use the SpaMoss which is inserted into the dispenser that floats in the spa. The moss will expand to fill the dispenser when it goes into the water. Change the moss once a month.

Tips & Warnings
  • A kit will be developed for pools in the future.
