Things You'll Need:
- 2 cups flour
- 6 tablespoons real cocoa
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract

Step 1
Butter your cookie pans.
Mix together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Cream together the butter and sugar.
Beat in the eggs and peppermint into the butter mixture. Slowly blend in the flour mixture. Mix well. -
Step 2
Cover and chill until firm.
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Place generous spoonfuls of the dough, in rows, on the prepared pans. Leave spaces between.
Press each cookie gently with a sugared glass until about 1/8 inch thick. -
Step 3
Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until cookies move freely on pan.
Cool on racks. Enjoy!
