Things You'll Need:
- Friendly Dog
- Ability to talk to strangers
- A big smile
-
Step 1
Naturally bonding with your dog brings out the best in you so the next time you and your four legged friend are out on a walk remember to enjoy the time together and smile.
-
Step 2
A friendly dog is a social magnet so you are guaranteed to see someone staring at the good time the two of you are having. This is the perfect opportunity to mention something funny about your dog or simple introduce your dog. Example: This is Leo and he is extremely happy today to be wearing his favorite bandana".
-
Step 3
Adding character and voices to your pets usually make people smile back and once that occurs, you got there attention. From here you can ask them such questions as, "do you have a pet' and "do you want a pet". Then you can continue to discuss more about your pet.
-
Step 4
Once the conversation has picked up simple introduce yourself, first name only, and ask if the person is a local or comes to the particular area often. When it is time to end the conversation simple state that you hope to see them around again.

on 8/17/2008 Cute article - I'm a sucker for dogs. I have two rotti's and at first glance people are scared, but then they realize that they're total push overs. They love attention. They'll drop down in front of a stranger just to get their belly rubbed anytime.
