Make Handmade Wine Tasting Party Invitations

Your having a wine tasting party and you are inviting several people, but you want to keep your costs low. You can make your own homemade wine tasting party invitations by recycling your wine bottle labels.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Removed wine bottle labels
  • cardstock in different colors
  • scissors
  • glue stick or wrinkle free rubber cement
  1. Step 1

Cut one sheet of card stock in half, cutting across width of paper, creating two pieces approximately 8 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches tall.

  2. Step 2

Fold each piece in half, creating a card 4 inches by 5 1/2 inches. Use a bone folder to press along fold to create a more professional card.

  3. Step 3

Using a glue stick or wrinkle free rubber cement, glue your removed wine labels to the front of the card.

  4. Step 4

Write your invitation inside, insert it into an envelope and mail. Or simply hand deliver your invitations.

  5. Step 5

Small labels can be used to make bookmarks for party guests. Simply cut card stock in sections to create the desired width of a bookmark, and glue wine labels on them.

Tips & Warnings
  • Laminate bookmarks, or cover with clear contac paper to protect them longer.
  • Use rubber cement in a ventilated room.
