Got a new cat that you just cant seem to make happy?? Try these few things that I do. My cats have never been so happy!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Time
  • Love
  • Toys, or string
  1. Step 1

THE BELLY RUB! Cats do love to have a belly rub, just like dogs. Don't be as hard on them as you would a dog, just lightly with your finger tips, from under the neck to the end of the belly.

  2. Step 2

SCRATCH THOSE EARS! Behind the ears is the purr-fect spot to rub down when wanting to make that cat happy. Just lightly with your fingers, and of course the top of the head as well.

  3. Step 3

TIME TO PLAY!!! Weather it is a fancy toy that you overpaid for or just a piece of string tied to a pencil, they love to be able to play and chase. I always crumple up a piece of paper, nice and tight, throw it on the floor and let them go. They can chase it for hours!

  4. Step 4

DONT FORGET FRESH WATER! Cats love fresh water, just like we love fresh drinks too. We don't like to drink something that has been out for days! Why should your cat have to??? Change their water at least 2 times a day to ensure better water for your cat.

  5. Step 5

THE LITTER BOX! I know that nobody enjoys cleaning it, but it has to be done. How would you like to have to use a toilet that only gets flushed when somebody else decides to do it for you??? Cats don't like it either. I find it easiest to clean it everyday. For a clean place for your cats to use, it reduces the odor, and can keep your cats healthy. (Not cleaning it enough can cause bacteria).

Tips & Warnings
  • Never forget to show your cat just how much they mean to you. ALways take out 30 minutes a day just for you two. Let them know that they are special and they will let you know how special you are to them.
  • I am not a vet or a doctor to cats.
  • I am a cat owner whose cats run to the door to great me when I get home, that is such a wonderful thing!
