How to Make Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake

Things You'll Need
- 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
- 1 package classic yellow cake mix
- 1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, cut into thin slices

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13-by-the 9-inch pan.

Dump pineapple with the juice into the pan. Spread evenly.

Dump in the cherry pie filling evenly.

Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the cherry pie filling.

Sprinkle the pecans over the cake mix and dot with butter.

Bake for 50 minutes or until the top is lightly browned.

This is a great yet easy dessert. Seems strange not making the cake mix but it's true, you just dump it in the pan. Good recipe. RCR. -
