Have you ever been so lonely and didn't know where to go? Learn more about Jesus and his Salvation Plan! Sara Groves song "Conversations" really hit home for me back in 2001. I realized I was the one at fault and not talking to God. Have a conversation with him. Here are steps for you to give your heart to Jesus he will fill any void you have.

Open Mind and Heart
Bible
Pastor or someone to talk to
A Bible Believing Church

Step 1

Go grab your Bible I'll walk you through it. If you don't have a Bible Lesea Ministries in South Bend give them away free for the asking. Ask!

Step 2

First thing to do is understand that God's desire for you is life abundant and eternal. The Bible says:
John 10: 10 & 11 The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Step 3

You have to Admit you are a sinner.
"There is no one righteous, not even one ... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:10,23. (See Romans 5:8; 6:23.)

Ask God's forgiveness.
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Romans 10:13
Step 4

You have to Believe in Jesus
(put your trust in Him) as your only hope of salvation.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (See John 14:6.)

Become a child of God by receiving Christ.
"To all who receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12 (See Revelation 3:20.)
Step 5

You have to Confess that Jesus is your Lord.
"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 (See verse 10.)
Step 6

You have to Pray to receive Jesus Christ into your life.
Dear Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe you died for me on the cross and shed Your blood for my salvation. I believe you rose from the dead and ascended on high. I believe You are coming back again to earth. Jesus, I am a sinner. Forgive my sin. Cleanse me now with Your precious blood. Come into my heart. Save my soul right now. I give you my life. I receive You now as my Savior, my Lord, and my God. I no longer belong to this world, nor to the enemy of my soul. I belong to You, and I am born again. Amen!
By praying this prayer, (or your own personal prayer of confession) confessing your sins, and receiving Jesus Christ into your heart, God has given you the right to become His forgiven child. The Bible tells us in John 1:12 & 13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Step 7

If you don't already attend a Church that believes and teaches the Bible that is very important. Find one. Church friends, Christian TV, Godly music help keep your mind focused and headed the right direction. Then after you feel it's the right time make a public statement to God by being baptized. Even Jesus did this. You can find that in Mark 1:9 One day Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee, and he was baptized by John in the Jordan River.
And Jesus tells us in John 3:5 & 6 Jesus replied, "The truth is, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven.
