How to Create an Effective E-mail Flyer?
In the contemporary business world, it's important to use every available technology to help you succeed. Sending advertising or marketing flyers via email is an ideal way of reaching your existing customers and prospective new customers. This method of marketing is suitable because almost every Internet user has access to email, and it's preferable to other methods because there are no printing costs.

1
Identify the intent of the flyer with a clear, catchy title to give your client an immediate idea of why he's receiving it. It's vitally important that your flyer be focused, with a specific intent. If you are sending it to announce an upcoming sale, for example, word the flyer's title so this is immediately apparent.

2
Provide the necessary information to help support the flyer's title. If the title has done its job, it will catch the recipient's eye and make her want to keep reading; therefore, it's important that your flyer have the content, not just the design, to keep clients engaged. If advertising for a sale, make sure you list the sale's location, hours, types of discounts available and reason, if any.

Add your company's logo in a prominent location so that your clients will instantly recognize the flyer is from you. This is also useful if a client forwards the flyer to his contacts or prints and displays it. In addition to your logo, include your website, physical address, contact information and slogan. Additionally, include information about any social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter that your company uses.

Incorporate graphic elements to give your flyer an eye-catching quality. An all-text flyer might not be attractive enough to draw your reader in. Shoot your own photos for the flyer or download suitable images from any stock photo website.

Tips & Warnings
Consider hiring a graphic designer to design your flyer. His work will likely be better than what you can put together and the increased quality will catch the eyes or more customers.
Regardless of what program you use to design the flyer, convert it to a PDF or JPEG file once it's complete. Virtually every computer will open a JPEG, and PDF files only require Adobe Reader, which is a free download. If you send the file in a less common format, there's a risk your clients won't be able to open it.
Proofread your work before publishing it. Factual errors and typos will lower your credibility and detract from the success of your advertising flyer.
