Making a party favor for a baby shower can be fun, and allows you to be creative. Here are instructions to making a simple party favor to fit your budget.

Things You'll Need:

  • Candles
  • money
  • Your invite list
  • labels
  • short poem or statment
  1. Step 1

    Get your invite list, and count how many guess will be attending, that amount of guest will be how many candles and labels you will need for each person.

  2. Step 2

    Pick a candle at a local store. I found the candles at a local Dollar Store, you can try michaels craft store, or even target. The candles you will be using need to be prewrapped with sheer plastic or come in a clear box.

    Pick a poem or statement related to baby shower event. I used the following: When ________(Child's name) is born, Light this candle to signify the beginning of her life, and the flames burning bright will symbolize all the love, she will have from us in her life. _____________(Name of Baby Shower in Honour). Baby shower date.

  4. Step 4

    Go to an affordable printing shop, or party supply store, and have labels printed with poem/statement and an image of your choosing.

  5. Step 5

    When labels are ready to pick up, place each label on the side of the candle.
