Things You'll Need:
- Participation from all family members
- Creativity
-
Step 1
The possibilities are almost endless! Try making a weekend getaway of the house. Turn bedrooms into hotel rooms by switching rooms with other family members (clean, of course!). Parents could do this for children and offer room service!
-
Step 2
Camp out in the back yard. Most department stores offer tents (I have a 2-room tent with a sky view and it's wonderful to sleep under the stars WITHOUT the bugs!) You're still at home so no need to use latrines or hike back through the woods to get a snack!
-
Step 3
Use your creativity! The only limits are those you set. Anything from a scavenger hunt to a cooking show to an indoor or outdoor picnic is a great way to have a weekend getaway at home!
