Step 1
Open Internet Explorer. Click "File" on the toolbar, then click on "Import and Export." The "Import/Export Wizard" will open.

Click "Next" to go to the Import/Export Selection screen. Click on "Export Favorites" and then "Next."

Leave the "Favorites" folder highlighted--unless you only wish to back up certain Favorites. If so, choose those you wish to back up. Click "Next."

Click the "Browse" button to navigate to the location you want to use to save your Favorites. You might want to save them to a CD or flash drive. If you are on a server, you can save them there.

Click "Finish," and your Favorites will all be saved to the destination you chose. If you ever need to reload them, simply click "Import Favorites" from the Import/Export Wizard and follow the steps.
