How to Get Cloud's Ultimate Weapon in Final Fantasy 7
Each character in the classic Playstation role-playing game Final Fantasy 7 acquires his best weapons in different locations or through different battles. To get the best sword for Cloud, the party will have to fight a towering monstrosity appropriately named "Ultimate Weapon" that can only be tracked down by flying through the skies in an airship.

Play through the game until the party takes control of the airship called the Highwind and the main character Cloud is rescued from the life stream in the city of Mideel.

Fly around the world map until you find the large silver creature called Ultimate Weapon hovering above the ground. Ultimate Weapon will go to random locations on the map but will most frequently be found near Midgar, Fort Condor or Corel.

Hit Ultimate Weapon with the airship to initiate combat with it. After the creature takes a set amount of damage, it will then flee combat and you will need to fly around and find him again to repeat the process.

Continue fighting Ultimate Weapon until it hovers around Cosmo Canyon, where it will only go when it is near death.

Slam the airship into Ultimate Weapon again to initiate combat one final time. Kill the creature and, after the battle, the party will receive a sword called "ultimate weapon," which is the best weapon for Cloud in the game.

Tips & Warnings
A character equipped with the "Steal" material can steal an accessory called a "reflect ring" from Ultimate Weapon.
