How to Join the Mystery Guild Book Club
The Mystery Guild Book Club provides members with the opportunity to purchase mystery books at up to 60% off the publishers prices. Types of books featured include true crime novels, legal thrillers, murder mysteries, and police procedural. When you sign up, you receive your first five books for $0.99 plus a sixth book for free. This first order will save you about $100 off the publishers price of your books. While the rest of your purchases will cost more, the savings add up quickly. By joining the Mystery Guild Book Club, you agree to purchase a minimum of 3 books at the normal member price over the next two years. Registering online is simple and only takes a few short minutes.

How to Join the Mystery Guild Book Club

Go to the Mystery Guild Book Club Web site at www.mysteryguild.com.

Click on the "Find Out More" button in the upper left part of your screen.

Choose the six books that you want to start your membership with by clicking the "Add to Cart" button under the books you want. Top sellers will be featured on the main page, but you can choose from any of their 18 genre categories listed on the left hand side of the screen by clicking on the one you want to see.

Search for a specific book by using the tool bar at the top of the page. Use the drop down menu to choose to search by keyword, title, or author then type the search phrase in the box to the right.

Your selection will occur in the upper right hand corner of your screen. As soon as you choose your sixth book, you will be taken to the next screen.

Review your selections and make any necessary changes. If you wish to change any of your choices, click the "remove" button under the options category next to the title. Then, click on the "Continue Shopping" button located at the bottom left to make a new selection.

Click the "Finish Enrollment" button in the right hand corner of the screen when you are satisfied with your selections. Before clicking on this button, make sure you have selected the six books that you want to start your membership with. You will be taken to the next screen.

Check the box in the upper right hand corner of the screen next to the sentence "Yes. Please enroll me in Mystery Guild" and fill in your name, address, phone number, and email address.

Choose whether you would like to receive future correspondence via email or postal mail. If you choose postal mail, you will receive a catalog of available titles in the mail on occasion and can use this catalog to purchase future books. Periodically, you will receive special promotions and offers No matter which option you choose, you will be able to browse titles and make purchases through their Web site.

Click the "continue" button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. You will be taken to the next page.

Enter your credit card billing information or choose to have a bill sent to you via mail. If you choose to enter credit card information, make sure the billing address on the card is the same as what you entered on the prior page.

Click the "continue" button at the bottom right hand corner of the page. You will be taken to the final page of the registration process.

Review your shopping cart and information for accuracy. Make any necessary changes by clicking the "edit" button next to the information that is incorrect, making the correction, and clicking on the "continue" button.

Click the "Submit Enrollment" button in the bottom right hand corner of the page to complete your enrollment in the Mystery Guild Book Club.

Tips & Warnings
Click on the title of the book on the shopping page to read a summary of the plot.
If you select a book by accident, click on the "remove" button next to the title in your shopping cart at the top right corner of the page.
You can purchase an additional book for a reduced price of $4.99 during your registration. This book counts toward the 3 you are required to purchase in the next two years.
If you are not satisfied with your introductory package, you can return it within 20 days. Mystery Guild Book Club will pay for the return, cancel your membership, and you will owe nothing.
Do not join the Mystery Guild Book Club if you are not able to commit to purchasing the minimum number of books (3) in the next two years.
While the first six books will only cost you $0.99, shipping and taxes will bring your first order up to the price of about $15.00.
The Mystery Guild Book Club does allow certain companies access to your information in order to send you offers they think you may enjoy.
The Mystery Guild Book Club is currently only available to US residents and military personnel with APO addresses.
