      Examine the aluminum frame for corrosion and obvious damage around the screws. If the screws have rust or are stripped, then you will need to drill out the screw using a special drill bit attachment.

      Use a manual screwdriver to remove the screws securing the aluminum frame to the wall. If you can’t remove the screws manually, then try removing them with a cordless drill.

      Slide your crow bar between the aluminum window frame and the exterior wall of the building. Gently pry the window frame from the window opening. Lift out the window frame and window.

      Wear leather gloves when removing the aluminum window frame to protect your hands from being cut by the sharp edges of the aluminum frame, as well as to protect your hands from being cut by broken glass shards.
