How to Make Ribbon Flip Flops

Woman and girls of all ages wear flip flops sometimes year round. Learn how to fancy up your ordinary pair of flip flops with colorful ribbons. This simple craft can be completed in a matter of minutes.

Things You'll Need

• 6 yards of ribbon divided evenly among three different colors or patterns
• 1 pair of thong flip flops
• Scissors

Instructions

1. Spread out each strand of ribbon and cut each strand into 5-inch strands.

2. Divide the cut ribbons in to two separate piles. Make sure the colors are evenly divided among both piles.

3. Take each individual 5-inch strand and tie them on to the flip flops in knots. Make sure you start at one end of the flip flop and work your way to the other side. Alternate the ribbon colors as you are tying them on.

4. Once you have used all the ribbons for each flip flop make sure that all the knots are evenly distributed. After you have checked all the knots make sure they are tied on to the flips flops securely. Trim off any excess threads.
