Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Long black wig
  • Blue head wrap
  • Gold earrings
  • Gold necklace
  • Blue top (showing midriff)
  • Blue matching pants
  • Blue jewelled flats
  1. Step 1

Style your hair to perfection. Jasmine's black hair was effortlessly gorgeous. Put on a long, black wig. It should be shiny and styled in a long banded ponytail.

  2. Step 2

Wrap your hair in a light blue headband wrap. It should be jeweled at the center where it rests on the top of your head.

  3. Step 3

Grab a matching blue top and bottom. The top cuts off at the belly button and the pants are free flowing and loose except at the waist. Her outfit is an important part of the costume. Jasmine is a free spirit and that shows in her fashion choices.

  4. Step 4

Put on big gold earrings and matching gold choker necklace. As a princess, Jasmine can afford to wear stylish jewelry. Gold bangle bracelets would also go with a Jasmine costume.

  5. Step 5

Complete the Jasmine ensemble with blue flat shoes. They should be a perfect color match to the outfit. Pick a pair with jewels to add extra glamor and fun to Jasmine's day.

Tips & Warnings
  • Sing "A Whole New World" as often as you can during the evening. After a few bars of that song, it's impossible to mistake your costume.
  • Don't be afraid to wearing some accessories meant for children in costume. Disney has so many costume options for Jasmine accessories and it is perfectly acceptable to wear some juvenile accessories.
