Contact local jewelry stores in the San Antonio area to see if they buy gold jewelry. Try the Cash America line of pawn shops. They have seven different locations in the San Antonio area to better serve customers. Check out the Money Mart Pawn & Jewelry store, which started serving San Antonio in 1993. Those who have used the store found their prices fair and that they were quite nice and helpful to those who used their services. You might find yourself offered a better price here than from other stores.

Go to Celestial Jewelry in San Antonio to sell your gold jewelry. This old-fashioned store does a little bit of everything including repairing and resizing jewelry. If you have pieces that are of a high quality or are older, this is a great choice.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Always get a few offers before you agree to sell. Just because one store offers you one price doesn’t mean that all stores will offer the same thing.

    • If you feel uncomfortable about selling, just walk away. Some salespeople will try and pressure you into accepting a deal right on the spot because they know their offer is too low.

These two comments by mpturkey and islamar were no doubt written by Valley Goldmine and CD Clark. I'd put about as much credence into them as I would something that a politician promises.

There is a new place in town called: C D Clark & Co. buy back gold store. They pay BIG $$$$$ for unwanted gold, silver and platinum jewelry. My experience was amazing. I got cash for broken chains and unwanted/outdated jewelry and went Xmas shopping afterwards. They are located in North Star Mall.
