How to Win in Battleship
Battleship is a game of strategy, instinct and memorization skills. Players place five battleships on a board their opponents can't see. Each player must track down their opponent's battleships by guessing their letter and number spots on the board. A battleship is sunk when the opponent has determined its complete location. The player who sinks all his opponent's battleships first wins the game.

1
Place your battleships in spots you don't believe your opponent will consider looking. Don't place them all in the same area. Your opponent will catch on to that strategy quickly and you will be sunk.
-
2
Know your opponent. Determine if you believe he is a tricky player who will place all his battleships in corners, bunch them all together, or separate them throughout the board.

3
Remember at all times where you have hit a battleship. Keep in mind that battleships can take anywhere from two to five hits before they are sunk. Continue pounding away at any battleship that has taken a hit until it is sunk.

Concentrate! The winner and loser in Battleship is generally determined after both players are down to one battleship. One false move and you're sunk!

Tips & Warnings
Watch your opponent. The dishonest ones might sneak a peak at your board if it's tilted just a few inches in one direction or the other. Make sure only you can see your board.
Don't let babies or toddlers get a hold of those battleships and put them in their mouths. They can choke on them.
