How to replace the horn!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Screwdrivers
  • ratchet and socket set/ or wrenches
  • a new horn
  1. Step 1

    Locate the horn!
Pop and open your hood. Look in between the front bumper and the hood latch area. You should be able to see one or two small round discs. They look kind of like black pop cans that have been squashed. You should already have the new one- it looks like that :) Get it from Weaver's, Napa, Carquest, Autozone etc.
    *Note: I couldn't find a picture-sorry! I'll post one if i do.

  2. Step 2

If you need to, remove the front bumper grill. There are a few screws holding it in.

  3. Step 3

The horn should be on a small metal bracket. Unscrew the bracket, disconnect the wiring harness, and put the new one in. Test it by tapping the horn button. If it works put the grill back on. If not, check the fuses, and check the wires using a multi-tester. If you were asking about the actual horn button or if this doesn't work, just contact me and I'll post more!
