Tips & Warnings
To freshen up the drink, substitute fresh orange juice and cherry juice from a jar of cherries.
If the bottle of cherry juice is topped with a pour spout, pour the cherry juice in last by pressing the pour spout gently to the side of the glass --- the heavier weight of the cherry juice will make it sink to the bottom.
Mix in a moderately priced silver or gold tequila --- within the $10 to $20 range. Anything cheaper than that will make the drink taste you poured in rubbing alcohol; anything more expensive would just be wasteful since you won't be able to tell the difference.
If drinking with a straw, give the drink a few stirs before you enjoy it --- otherwise, your first few sips will be all grenadine.
If adding more tequila, make the drink in a 12 oz. or larger glass so the liquor doesn't overpower the drink.
As always, drink responsibly and never drink and drive.
