Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • White sweatsuit or white leotard set
  • Rabbit ears
  • Puffy tail
  • Face makeup (optional)
  1. Step 1

Wear a white sweatsuit as the base of a rabbit costume. To be Alice's white rabbit, put a dress coat with tails over top of it and of course, an oversized stopwatch on a chain. You can make one by painting a clock face on a plastic plate and making a construction paper chain to attach it. Wear a top hat and place your bunny ears so they are visible. You may want to use face paint to make a bunny face complete with whiskers. A pair of glasses frames will complete the look.

  2. Step 2

Make a rabbit costume for kids by adding a pink felt oval belly-patch to a white or gray sweatsuit. Buy a set of bunny ears online or at a local costume store and pin on a fluffy cotton tail. To make this an Easter Bunny costume, carry a basket for a trick-or-treat bag.

  3. Step 3

Wear a leotard or lingerie to be a playboy bunny. Skip the bunny whisker face paint, and go for a more feminine, modern makeup with bunny ears and a tail.

  4. Step 4

Put on a straw hat and a pair of overalls over your rabbit costume to be Peter Rabbit. Tuck a head of cabbage under your arm, just for effect.

Tips & Warnings
  • A Halloween costume for kids should be warm and comfortable for trick-or-treating.
