The Manhattan Cocktail is a great drink, that has been around for a long time. The whiskey that you use, is the most important part of making this drink. There a been hundreds of arguments about what kind of whiskey should be used to make the perfect Manhattan. Just stick to whatever whiskey that you usually drink, and your Manhattan will taste great to you. If you are new to whiskey all together, I would suggest Maker's Mark. If you don't like it, then you can try something else.
