1
Purchase a bag of clear marbles from a craft store. Make sure the marbles have a flat side. Most craft stores or discount stores such as Wal-Mart sell marbles pretty cheaply. Many times, the marbles are located near the flower arranging section of the store.
-
2
Cut a tiny picture or words from an old magazine. You can also cut a small picture of a loved one. These marbles are really small, so you need to hunt for images, letters or materials that are small enough to fit.

-
3
Attach the item you want to use to the flat side of the marble using glue. Make sure you press firmly to eliminate any bubbles in the image.
-
4
Cut any excess parts of the picture so it fits the size of the marble. You'll notice that the marble magnifies the picture that you glued onto it.
-
5
Add any extra bits to the magnet if you desire. Small ribbons, glitter or fake jewels are all good choices if you don't want to use a tiny picture.
-
6
Snip a piece of magnetic tape small enough to fit the marble. Peel off the white backing, and press the tape onto the back of the marble so that you can still see the image. Once the magnet is dry, you are ready to hang it in your locker or on the fridge.

I'd love to see pictures of these, so I can get a better idea of the finished look. Thanks. -
