      Purchase decorating supplies. Make sure you have a couple of rolls of tape, as well as scissors, construction paper, stickers, and stencils if you need. You can find them at any craft or department store and often find them on sale around the back to school season. Find a variety of items to give yourself a wide range of items to use for decorating.

      Use stencils to cut out shapes. If you are not the best at drawing and cutting freehand, use stencils to trace out grass, trees and animals. Include animals such as lions and tigers and use bright colored paper. You can purchase decorations like these directly from teacher supply stores, or you can use your creativity to create your own.

      Add textured materials such as crepe paper and glitter. Nothing will excite students more than shiny and dimensional materials such as crepe paper and glitter. It will give the jungle theme a special look and make it stand out little more than traditional pictures.

      Cover walls and doors with craft paper. You want to make sure have a clean flat surface to cover so that you can easily remove it for the seasons.
