How to Draw Curves on a Premiere Pro Title
Adobe Premiere Pro has a very handy title-creation tool. A “title” is anything you want to include in your video project that involves text, such as the names of your actors and crew or the title of the movie. You can also create subtitles using the Premiere Pro Title Tool, using any font available on your computer. You can add logos, graphics or designs of your own creation to titles to further customize your project. When you master a simple curved-line drawing, you can move on to creating more elaborate shapes and designs for your titles. Here is how to create a simple, curved line.

1
Open Premiere Pro and select the project for which you want to create titles. This project should feature a previously edited sequence of video clips.
-
2
Create a new title, or double-click on an existing title in your Project Panel window to open the Title Editor window. To create a new title, go to the File menu at the top of your workspace and select “New,” then “Title.” Type a name to save your titles under and click "OK."

-
3
Click on the pen tool in the title-editor toolbox. Place the point of the tool at the spot on your title card where you want your curve to begin.
-
4
Holding down the mouse tab, drag your cursor in the direction you want your curved line to follow. You will see a directional line extend out from the point you previously created. Click on the line and drag it out about 1/3 of the distance to your planned next anchor point. Release the mouse button.
-
5
Position the pen tool at the point where you want your curve to end and click with your mouse. You will see the curved line appear between the two points, with the degree of the curve relating to the severity of the directional line you have drawn.
-
6
Create a C-shaped curve by dragging in the opposite direction.
-
7
To increase or decrease the level of your curve, click on either your first or last anchor point and hold while dragging.
-
8
To close your line path or begin a new one, hold down the Control key and click anywhere outside of your anchor points, or click on a new tool in the toolbox.
