Who doesn't love ice cream? This article will show you how to make Cherry Vanilla ice cream using an ice cream maker. The perfect sweet treat that any ice cream lover will enjoy!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1-3/4 cup of fresh, pitted cherries (or 1 can of cherries in syrup)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • Food processor
  • 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 gallon of cherry ice ice cream (or vanilla cherry)
  1. Step 1

    In order to make the cherry syrup, you can simply use a can of sweet cherries in syrup. Or, you could also mix fresh cherries with sugar and put them through a food processor until they're well blended.

  2. Step 2
    Cook the mixture in a saucepan.

    In the saucepan, use medium heat to bring the cherry mixture to a boil until there is only about 1 cup left in the saucepan. Then transfer the cherry mixture to a small bowl for cooling.

  3. Step 3

    After the cherry mixture has cooled, mix it in a large bowl with the milk and ice cream. You could also try putting the ingredients in a blender or food processor to blend it together a bit.

  4. Step 4

    Pour your servings and feel free to add whipped cream and a cherry on top and enjoy!
