Remove Cigar smoke odor from clothes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Fabreeze fabric refresher
  • Baking Soda
  • Laundrey soap
  • Fabric softener
  1. Step 1

    To remove the smell of smoke from clothing first spray the item very liberally with a fabric refresher such as fabreeze. Hang the item outside in the fresh air for 12 to 24 hours.

  2. Step 2

    Wash using care instructions on the garment's label. Use the regular amount of laundry soap and fabric softener and add one cup of baking soda.

  3. Step 3

    Dry using the instructions on the garment's label. The smell should be gone.

Tips & Warnings
  • This method will also remove a mildew smell!

on 10/30/2009 actually, you'll ruin many fabrics if you spray them with fabreeze since it's mostly water. Instead, use gonesmoke 'n' odor eliminator. it's a very dry spray that will truly eliminate smoke and other odors from your clothes. But the best news is, it works on your hair! you won't even have to wash your clothes after using GoneSmoke
