- Fabreeze fabric refresher
- Baking Soda
- Laundrey soap
- Fabric softener

Step 1
To remove the smell of smoke from clothing first spray the item very liberally with a fabric refresher such as fabreeze. Hang the item outside in the fresh air for 12 to 24 hours.

Step 2
Wash using care instructions on the garment's label. Use the regular amount of laundry soap and fabric softener and add one cup of baking soda.

Step 3
Dry using the instructions on the garment's label. The smell should be gone.

on 10/30/2009 actually, you'll ruin many fabrics if you spray them with fabreeze since it's mostly water. Instead, use gonesmoke 'n' odor eliminator. it's a very dry spray that will truly eliminate smoke and other odors from your clothes.
