Few things taste better than the delicious combination of strawberries and chocolate. You can find a variety of chocolate covered strawberries at traditional and online stores. Here are some tips for how to order chocolate covered strawberries.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Conduct an online search for chocolate covered strawberries. You'll find a bevy of online chocolate or candy stores that produce these delectable treats. Some florists also carry chocolate covered strawberries, among other chocolate goodies. You can even find shops that make edible bouquets of flowers. In this case, your chocolate covered strawberries would be arranged to resemble a lovely bouquet of flowers.

  2. Step 2

Choose the type of chocolate covered strawberries you would like to purchase. Sites such as Berry Elegance and Cherry Moon Farms feature an incredibly wide array of choices including milk, dark and white chocolate covered strawberries. You can also choose strawberries that are covered in chocolate and then dipped in chopped nuts or sugar candies. There are even designer chocolate covered strawberries that are made to replicate mini tuxedos and dresses, using a mixture of white and milk chocolate.

  3. Step 3

Compare prices between a few sites to determine the best deal. Make sure to factor any additional fees, such as shipping, into your final price prior to making a decision. Confirm that the company will pack your order with insulated packaging if you are ordering your strawberries in the summertime. You don't want them to melt during transport.

  4. Step 4

Finalize your order. Most sites will accept credit cards as their preferred method of payment. You'll then need to enter your shipping address and confirm your order.

  5. Step 5

Visit local chocolate stores in your area. Most chocolate or candy stores will feature chocolate covered strawberries, particularly upscale shops such as Godiva. You may even be able to put in a special request regarding the ingredients or design of the chocolate-dipped berries, for an additional cost.

  6. Step 6

Plan ahead if you are ordering the chocolate covered strawberries for a special occasion. If you are ordering online, you can't get your order delivered the same day, though most sites offer overnight delivery. If you need the strawberries immediately, opt for local chocolate shops.

Tips & Warnings
  • It's recommended that you eat your chocolate covered strawberries within two days of purchasing them.
