Keep swimming pool areas safeFence in the pool area with a minimum 5' tall fence. Add a low layer of chicken wire if you have small dogs.

Install self-closing gates and latches at a higher level.

Design plan for swimming pool placementAlways design and build a pool where it is visible from windows that look out from inside the house.

Don't swim immediately after meals or during thunderstorms.

Keep attractions like toys cleaned up from the pool area.

Learn CPR ... just in case.
